Youth are embedded in multiple contexts and each of these contexts interacts with individual characteristics of youth in ways that either exacerbate or attenuate the association between these individual characteristics and bullying perpetration or victimization. Recognizing that bullying behavior is a major public health problem that demands the concerted and coordinated time and attention of parents, educators and school administrators, health care providers, policy makers, families, and others concerned with the care of children, this report evaluates the state of the science on biological and psychosocial consequences of peer victimization and the risk and protective factors that either increase or decrease peer victimization behavior and consequences.

  • http://iom.nationalacademies.org/hmd/Reports/2013/Priorities-for-Research-to-Reduce-the-Threat-of-Firearm-Related-Violence.aspx Priorities for Research to Reduce the Threat of Firearm-Related Violence : Health and Medicine Division - In 2010, more than 105,000 people were injured or killed in the United States as the result of a firearm-related incident. Recent, highly publicized, tragic mass shootings in Newtown, CT; Aurora, CO; Oak Creek, WI; and Tucson, AZ, have sharpened the American public’s interest in protecting our children and communities from the harmful effects of firearm violence. While many Americans legally use firearms for a variety of activities, fatal and nonfatal firearm violence poses a serious threat to public safety and welfare. The IOM, in collaboration with the National Research Council, was asked to develop a potential research agenda that focuses on the causes of, possible interventions to, and strategies to minimize the burden of firearm-related violence. The proposed research agenda focuses on the characteristics of firearm violence, risk and protective factors, interventions and strategies, the impact of gun safety technology, and the influence of video games and other media.

  • Mirelle polk - Such a RIPOFF

Ok- so this is such a ridiculous product for the price. I cannot believe that BOB charges close to $100 dollars for this after you spend over $500 on the stroller. The tray itself is pretty $#%%$# it hold like a string of cheerios and the carseat side hold the carseat. Nothing special BUT it does make me angry that I needed to fork over more money just to get my stroller functional.

  • Mike - 18 months & going strong!

Bought this treadmill in May of 2012. 18 months later and it's still going strong! It gets used maybe 3 or 4 times a week for 30 to 60 minutes. We use the oil spray occasionally, but no other maintenance. For $600, I hoped it would last 10 months, or $60/month - same as a gym membership. Looks like it will be double, so overall cost seems to be dropping to $30/mo! Hopefully it goes even longer. Seems like it should. Nice little treadmill.

  • John Kane - Acronis used to produce an excellent product, but the current offering is a dog

Acronis used to produce an excellent product, but the current offering is a dog. I suspect the name "Acronis" has been sold to another outfit who are trying to screw as much money as they can out of a product that is not actually the original software. I am an MCSE and worked for years as an IT manager, so the user is not the problem, its the buggy half-assed software.
