Weird Al once released a song called "Trapped in a Closet with Vanna White." I feel as if I have been trapped in a closet with Intuit Quickbooks for more than a decade! Here's yet another iteration of bloatware, that does too much in order to make it as widely useful to too many people, while at the same time managing to continue to waste your screen space and time with advertising for checks, payment processing, payroll solutions, etc... As if I don't get enough of those solicitations in phone calls throughout the course of a business day.
This is the first time I've purchased the Softgels vs the tablets. I've been taking Azo Cranberry for years. No more UTI's! Hooray!
I wasn't sure what to expect when I added this to my wishlist for Christmas. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and I also LOVE cooking. I am always looking for something new or a spin on an old dish. This book hits the spot! While it cites recipes mentioned in the Harry Potter series, its really more a cookbook full of traditional and popular recipes from England. It also has notes as to the difficulty, and replacements for ingredients not easily found in the States. It also includes side notes on the history of the dishes or an interesting fact surrounding it. There's a few simple things like how to properly roast beef or how to make a proper cup of English Tea, but there are a lot of recipes or preparations that you rarely see in the States. The instructions are very easy to follow. This is a wonderful cookbook, even if you left out any mention of the Harry Potter Series. I recommend this to anyone who likes to cook who is looking for something yummie for dinner beyond meatloaf or spaghetti!
This is my third time buying these bad boys and I would repurchase again and again. Late winter is the best time to use these as your feet are still covered and no one will question your possible leprosy when your skin is shedding everywhere. Another reviewer has the ultimate key to making these work best: soak your feet prior to applying, leave on for around 1 1/2-2 hours, soak your feet after removing, and continue soaking your feet for 30 minutes to 1 hour daily after the first 2-3 days. Then brace yourself for the sick pleasure of watching your skin peel off in sheets. Also, I highly recommend wearing socks to bed every night. There will be flakes/pieces of skin everywhere, so it's best to try and contain them as much as possible.
