After swimming in an ion-charged pool with residue of hair spray on my hair, other shampoos left my hair glued together; most distressing to suddenly have one long "dread". This shampoo, I am told by a hair salon beautician from Hawai'i, was designed for cleaning hair with excessive exposure to salt from the ocean. It fixed my "dreadlock" problem and returned my hair to silky. Yay.
The day of the dead is a historically significant holiday in Mexico. Wearing this costume exploited elements of that culture without actually acknowledging its history and its rich meaning.
I was super excited about this, but I got it over a month ago and haven't used it yet. There are a gazillion pieces and it just sat in the dishwasher for awhile until we finally put it away. It also doesn't really close that securely. You really have to be careful and make sure not to lose any of the pieces.
I have been tanning for a long time and went thru quite a few different tanning lotions. There is always something - to thick, strong smell, greasy, to light, doesn't moisturize. Well, i think, i finally found "the one". This lotion has a pretty light texture and easy to apply. It doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy after tanning and you dont have that usual "tan body smell". The lotion itself smells like a sweet coffee but after 10-20 min smell lightens. Regarding color of a skin after tanning or preservation of a tan, to me, it doesnt work any better or worse than other big tanning lotion names BUT its all natural which one of the most important things! Plus that light feeling of no greasiness but full moisture on the skin is amazing.
I bought this for some hair under my chin that popped up out of nowhere. I was really self conscious about it and felt like everyone could see it (they couldn't, it was just me obsessing). Still, I wanted the hair gone and plucking was too painful (plus there were just too many hairs). Waxing seemed painful and messy, and shaving would leave darker stubble that would be even more noticeable. So I spent the ten bucks on this and it did the job. The unsightly hairs are gone, but it did leave some stubble that's noticeably rough, at least to me. I will have to do this every day or I will soon have man stubble. Hmmmm. I'm hesitant to use this on my upper lip hair. I don't want my husband feeling rough stubble when we kiss. Still, it did remove the hairs easily, quickly, and pain free. PS, don't use this "down under" because that kind of hair is just too thick for this little thing. I tried and didn't get far at all. Don't bother.
First off, this item saved me some $$$ versus buying the factory parts. The install for the first rail took me an 90 minutes. The instruction were terrible, so finally after about 30 minutes I said screw it, and figured out how to do it on my own. With that said, the second rail went up in less than 30 minutes and ended up looking better than the first. My advise: use your intuition and common sense. Scratch the instructions!
