I thought the book was fantastic and when I had to stop reading to get something done, I found myself thinking of what might happen next. The author writes in a way that makes you feel for the characters, be it sadness, pity, anger or disgust.

My boy (4) was excited for these shoes .. the fit is good -- they do have the "wow" factor..but had to return them the next day because the left shoe, the lights needed a lot of "force" to trigger the lights.. far more than the right shoe so decided to return and get another pair. Son was in tears - he didn't quite understand we were going to get a replacement pair. We got another pair and the lights work as expected. Buyer please test the shoes before giving to your kids to avoid meltdowns especially that there have been reviews of lights not working. For $50, you deserve EXCELLENT QUALITY shoes...

There is to much romance and not enough mystery and suspense. Plus, the romance stuff starts by the time you get to the fifth chapter and mostly takes over the whole story. I am not a fan of romance novels so it was annoying to me and forced me to skip over entire chapters, sometimes two or three chapters at a time. So far I have repeated this review in rating the last three books I've recently read by this author. I am currently starting on Buried and if it follows the same pattern (lots of romance and just a little crime investigation) this will be the last one I read by her. The one good thing about these books is that they are not that long.
