Stiger's Tigers is your fairly standard military fantasy, and that's not a bad thing. The titular protagonist, whose family is infamous for their military exploits, is serving as a captain in the Imperial Legion. He is given command of an infantry company in order to escort supplies and reopen communications with a cut off outpost. The plot is not overly ambitious; Edelheit includes plenty of action and progression and does a good job of wrapping things up nicely while setting the stage for the sequel. Roman history is the primary influence for the book; the soldiers are armed, trained, and organized similar to Roman Legions.

I boughtt Family Tree Maker hoping it would make my searches easier. It not only made it easier but I was able to create a report going back 8 generations in less than an hour. I am very happy with this software.

Disabled my hard drive! Seemed to install, then all I could get on the screen was "Recovery - PC needs to be repaired" ! It apparently had messed up my boot record! Had never in 50 years had such a bad program. I could not boot up, could not get F8 to help, etc. I am a along retired computer guy, & can usually work around poor programs, but this was very bad. It took all day to get rid of it - & get my computer back. Their FAQ's, Help, forums, did not help in any way. I tried chat - but after 1/2 hour wait gave up. Do not buy.

Much cheaper than the expensive vibrating razors I've been using the last 6 years and does the job as good or better than the expensive razors. Also, these razors can last for 8-10 shaves before getting too dull and causing in-grown hairs where the expensive razors need replaced after only 5 shaves. I've been recommending these to friends.

This little book (thick, but about the size of a Kelly Blue Book) can easily fit in your desk drawer or in your pocket (the trim size might be intentional). I guess the author intended for managers to keep this book handy whenever they needed it to compose their performance reviews. The book succeeds as a reference. You will never need another book if you are looking for the "right phrase" in order to praise or reprimand someone. It's ALL there.
