Accountants who use this product need to be aware of a few things. First, the annual closing apparently does not involve closing the P&L balances and writing the net amount into a retained earnings account. However, it appears to be done if you look at the next year to date, so maybe that does not matter. What does matter is that you should set a closing date which denies access to a prior closed period unless the person is properly authorised. Quickbooks appears to do this under password control which if it worked would be good. In my case, the confirm password field was grayed out so I could not confirm it. More serious still I called Quickbooks to point out this apparent bug only to be told by someone who ominously identified himself as Mike 07 (James Bond type?) that to get this solved I needed to buy the support package. I asked for his boss and was put on hold for 20 minutes or so until they hung up. In summary, there is a looseness in Quickbooks in relation to accounting controls, systems integrity and professionalism, the software is quite easy to learn and use, but the support appears to be as uncompromisingly unfriendly as Microsoft's. Further Mike 07 had a strange accent that was really difficult to understand. Accountants should be very careful about whom they allow access to in the system and regularly print out last years balance sheet and compare it with the one they used to file their returns. I also noticed that quite frequently the underlying ledger, say AP or inventory, showed a balance that differed from the amount shown on the balance sheet. A journal entry will correct this but it is disconcerting. Again you should worry about the systems internal controls or at least I did and still do.
Description says it fits most stoves including Kenmore. The small pans fit my newer Kenmore but the large ones are not even close. They came in a set of four, not sure what I will do with them.
I received this book in a timely manner and in intact packaging. I requested to review this product for my child to study ahead of time for the ASVAB testing. My child wants to join the Navy after high school and wants to be prepared. My husband has been in the military for 21 years and knows how difficult testing can be for a lot of people and did agree with me that this book is very helpful in the fact that its easier to understand the print and the right steps to be prepared as fully as possible for when the time comes for our child to test. I am reviewing this now to be able to share with individuals or parents etc... whom have a loved one or friend that need help with preparing for the ASVAB. Its a great help with studying methods and steps. Testing can be a very stressful time for most, especially for this type of test. But, so far I have no complaints. I will try to have an after the fact review when I have a score to post. I appreciate the company for choosing me to share this helpful book with my child so they can be better prepared for testing day. I received this product for free and will be recommending to those in the market for a helpful study guide when it comes to the ASVAB.
