QuickBooks has always done what I need, but in the latest version, it seems like EVERYTHING is an upsell. For instance, take the document attachment feature. In 2010, you had to pay for the service (starting at $9.95/mo.) and you could only 'attach' documents to Intuits servers. A lot of people complained, so in 2011, there is an attach button just about every screen, and you can save the documents locally, but if you do not subscribe to that service, you cannot even save documents on your own computer. Yep, Intuit wants $9.95 a month to be able to map a document stored on your computer to the transaction. So many other accounting packages have this as a feature -- it is 2011 (talking about the year, not the QB verison).
